Chairman
Mr. Bindley oversees the investment activities of BCP. Mr. Bindley was the chairman, chief executive officer and founder of Bindley Western and was the chairman, founder and largest shareholder of Priority Healthcare. Mr. Bindley currently serves on the board of Kite Realty Group and previously served as a director of Bindley Western, Priority Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Shoe Carnival and Key Bank NA. He is a trustee and past president of the U.S. Ski Team Foundation and a former owner of the Indiana Pacers. Mr. Bindley is a past director of the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce and holds numerous charitable and civic positions in Indiana and Florida.
Mr. Bindley received his undergraduate and Doctor of Management (hc) degrees from Purdue University and completed the Wholesale Management Program at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Bindley serves as a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Purdue University and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Krannert Graduate School of Management. Mr. Bindley funded the creation and construction of the Bindley Bioscience Center, part of Purdue’s Discovery Park.
President
Mr. Salentine runs the day-to-day operations of BCP. Previously, Mr. Salentine was a principal at Frontenac Company, a Chicago-based private equity firm, where he executed acquisitions of and investments in private companies in a range of industries. Prior to Frontenac, Mr. Salentine worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns and also worked in the strategic planning department of DreamWorks SKG during its start-up phase.
Mr. Salentine is a graduate of Harvard College and received his master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Director of Administration
Ms. Bearman manages administrative functions for BCP.
Prior to BCP, Ms. Bearman worked in administration at Mainstreet Property Group and Buckingham Companies.
Ms. Bearman is a graduate of Trine University, where she was a scholarship athlete on the varsity swim team. She majored in business management, with a minor in marketing.
Vice President
Mr. Bindley provides analytical and financial analysis for evaluation and operational strategies for existing portfolio companies and potential new investments. Prior to joining BCP, Mr. Bindley worked in New York at Nomura Securities in investment banking with the Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Bindley has also worked for several prominent Los Angeles production companies including Warner Bros. Studios.
Mr. Bindley is a graduate of New York University and received his master’s degree in Management Studies from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Advisor
Mr. Bindley is a founder and co-president of Gulfstream Pictures, a motion picture and television production company based in Los Angeles. He is a producer, director and screenwriter. Gulfstream has produced such films as the Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore comedy “Blended,” the Garry Marshall-directed “Mother’s Day,” with Julia Roberts, and the Netflix coming-of-age hit film, “The Last Summer,” (which Bindley co-wrote and directed). Gulfstream is currently in post-production on three feature films for Amazon, which will be released in 2023.
A former board member of Bindley Western, Mr. Bindley is a graduate of Northwestern University, where he now serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School. He also serves on the board of the U.S. Ski Team Foundation.
Partner
Mr. Burks provides operational and strategic oversight to BCP investments. Mr. Burks served as executive vice president of Bindley Western and was responsible for the company’s operations. Mr. Burks currently serves on the board of trustees of Butler University, and he is the past chairman of the Healthcare Distribution Management Association.
Mr. Burks is a graduate of Indiana University and received his master’s degree in business administration from Butler University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Managing Director
Ms. Detmer focuses on evaluating investment opportunities, working with direct investment company managers and providing ongoing business and financial analysis of BCP investments. Prior to BCP, Ms. Detmer worked at Morgan Stanley in investment banking and at Barclays Capital in credit research, as well as at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Ms. Detmer is a graduate of McGill University, and she received her master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her law degree from the Northwestern University School of Law.
Executive Director, Accounting and Taxation
Tim provides management of taxation and other financial and business matters for BCP. Prior to joining BCP, Tim was a partner with Katz, Sapper & Miller in their business advisory services group. He served clients in many industries with business, tax and accounting strategies, including tax strategies and planning, business structuring, business valuations and mergers and acquisitions. Tim also spent two years with a national technology and consulting firm as chief financial officer, overseeing private equity investment, mergers of newly acquired companies, and integration of financial and business systems.
Tim is a graduate of Manchester University and a Certified Public Accountant.
Partner
Mr. McCormick provides legal and strategic oversight to BCP investments. Mr. McCormick served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Bindley Western. Prior to joining Bindley Western, he was a partner in an Indianapolis law firm and also spent ten years in the motor carrier industry.
Mr. McCormick graduated from Duke University and received his law degree from Indiana University.
Advisor
Mr. McGinley is the founder and principal of House Investments, a commercial and residential real estate investment firm operating in several states. He has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Mr. McGinley was a White House Fellow and has received several awards from the State of Indiana and Purdue University where he served as chairman of the board of trustees for 16 years. Mr. McGinley was a board member of Bindley Western and was the lead director of Vectren Corporation.
Mr. McGinley graduated from Purdue University and received his master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Millman provides financial management and oversight to BCP’s day-to-day operations. Prior to joining BCP, Mr. Millman served as vice president and controller of Anthem, Inc. (NYSE: ANTM — formerly WellPoint, Inc.), and he also worked as an assurance services senior manager with Ernst & Young in the Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Indiana offices.
Mr. Millman is a graduate of Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Partner
Mr. Salentine provides financial and strategic oversight to BCP investments. Mr. Salentine served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Bindley Western. Prior to joining Bindley Western, he was vice president and corporate controller of Stokely Van Camp and also worked with Price Waterhouse in North America and Europe.
Mr. Salentine graduated from Marquette University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Treasurer
Mr. Shinn provides management of taxation and other financial matters for BCP. Mr. Shinn served as vice president and treasurer of Bindley Western. Prior to joining Bindley Western, he was director of taxation with Price Waterhouse in the Indianapolis, Indiana office.
Mr. Shinn is a graduate of Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Operating Partner
Mr. Winkenbach focuses on providing operational, entrepreneurial and managerial expertise to BCP investments. Mr. Winkenbach was the chairman of HeadsUp Healthcare, a specialty managed care company that was sold in 2024, and before that was chairman of ForeSight Medical, an implant cost containment and specialty network company that was sold in 2017. Mr. Winkenbach’s other former ventures include roles at healthcare financing company Centric Health as Chief Operating Officer, McKesson Corporation as Senior Vice President in the Pharmaceutical group, and Waste Management-backed, startup pharmaceutical / controlled substance reverse distribution and destruction company Reverse Distribution Services in an entrepreneurial endeavor.
